The numerous conferences, seminars, workshops, round tables and press-conferences, conducted by the YPC since 1996, offer journalists of Armenia, South Caucasus and other NIS countries an opportunity to exchange ideas, knowledge and professional information, contribute to strengthening the professional solidarity and to joint solution of urgent problems. Representatives of the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Island took part in these meetings as experts.

The YPC successfully carries on the “3+3” formula at its regional events. Participation of journalists from the three non-recognized states of Mountainous Karabagh, South Ossetia and Abkhazia together with the media representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia permits to rely on the idea of integration to replace the current estrangement trends in the South Caucasus.

Actively participating in conflict resolution efforts in the South Caucasus, the YPC is a co-organizer of the conference cycle "Economic Cooperation and Regional Security in the South Caucasus" and is a co-founder of the South Caucasus Network for Civil Accord.

YPC is also the initiator of regular topical round tables between the representatives of Armenian media and NGOs, where the “fourth estate” and the “third sector” discuss common concerns and search for ways for constructive cooperation.
